Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher: Multiplayer for both brands continue to be in planning

At the beginning of the year CD project Red already reveals that one would like to publish multiplayer contents of one day for all brands. Originally, the developer team wanted to make a standalone multiplayer for cyberpunk 2077, but this idea was deleted.

Cyberpunk and The Witcher should receive multiplayer functions

Our plan is Multiplayer functions in the future for both franchises — including cyberpunk — gradually add. We do not reveal which franchise is first obtained these multiplayer capabilities, but the first attempt will be something from the will learn to add more and more. CD Project Red continues to focus on single player role-playing

Despite the new plans, the core of CD project red will not change much. The studio wants to continue to put on AAA role-playing experiences for single players. In the future, these should be extended with multiplayer activities. A new technology should help on which the team is currently working.

Next-Gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 appear 2022

Already this morning we have reported over the versions of Cyberpunk 2077 (Buy Now €46,99) and The Witcher 3 for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S reported. Both productions are located according to CD project Red in schedule. Cyberpunk 2077 should — together with a large update — come in the first quarter 2022. The Witcher 3 for NEXT-GEN systems will follow in the second quarter 2022.
