What is Valorant Lock // in?
Image source: Riot Games VCT Lock // in is the inaugural tournament of the Valorant Champions Tour 2023, but its meaning is much greater than the beginning of the competitive calendar.
2023 is the first year of Valorant franchisee electronic sports, with Riot Games by selecting thirty teams around the world to enter this formalized league. Lock In will have the thirty of those teams and two guest teams from China, to compete in an exhausting format of simple elimination within three weeks, starting Feb. 13 until March 4.
The competition will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, and will have many known and new faces as the teams accommodate to show how they treated them during the low season.
What is the Awards for Lock // In?
The awards for VCT Lock // in is a division of $500,000 between thirty-two teams according to its locations. Calendar VCT LOCK IN: Parties, Groups, Results
VCT Lock // in is the largest event that Valorant ESports and Riot Games have organized to date. The thirty-two teams will compete in a simple elimination format over the course of three weeks, with only one claiming the crown. Next, you will find the format for the Alpha and Omega group, including the hours, dates and results of the relevant matches. The days listed as dark days mean that games are not played that day.
