Cd project red wants to be not allowed to buy

The publication of Cyberpunk 2077 did not expire smoothly. For this reason, the market research company DFC Intelligence reported releasing the game that CD project Red now represents a potential goal for a takeover by another company.

However, CPR would like to remain independent, such as Adam Kaminski, one of the CEOs of the company, explained in an interview with the Polish Economic Newspaper Rzeczpospolita:

We have been telling for years that we still want to remain independent. We currently do not have plans to become part of a bigger entity. We are also not looking for investors.

As it is with acquisitions, these often do not run in agreement of both parties. CD Project Red is protected against enemy acquisitions according to Kaminski.

CD Project Red does not want to become a goal of taking over, instead, the company acquired in recent months itself some studios. Among them The Molasses Flood, and Digital Escapes. The latter were now renamed CD project Red Vancouver.

As part of our strategy updates, we have announced further activities in Mergers & Acquisitions, which we have confirmed in recent months with two transactions. We do not exclude other such transactions in the future. The aim of our acquisitions is to use our development teams Strengths and to gain additional supports in the implementation of our strategy.
