Ghostbusters Legacy: First reviews celebrate the new ghost hunter

Snooker ([Snuːkɐ], British [snuːkə]) is a variant of the precision sports billiards. Snooker is played on a snooker table that is limited to each side of a gang in which a total of six pockets are embedded. At the beginning of a round ( Frame ) are 22 billiard balls on the table: 21 object balls as well as the white ball. This is encountered with the queue. Ideally, he touches an object ball so that it runs in one of the six pockets. If no ball is perforated with a kick or a rule violation is committed, the opponent comes to the table. For the punching of a ball, the player receives points: The 15 red balls are each a point value, the other object balls ( colors ) have ascending scores (yellow → 2, green → 3, brown → 4, blue → 5, pink → 6, black → 7). At the beginning of a recording ( break ) one of the reds must be played. If this was successfully perforated, a color follows, then again a red and so on. After the punch, the reds remain in his pocket, the colors first return to the table. Only when no red is there, the colors are perforated. The round ends with the punch of all object balls or by the task of a player. The winner of the frames is the one who at the end has the most points. A lot consists mostly of several frames. Decisive for victory and defeat are technical and tactical aspects such as posture, concentration and recreational advantages. For example, the opponents like to go to rule violations, as opponent fouls bring points to a self. Such a situation is, for example, the Snooker, in which the direct path to the next ball is blocked. Although the name of this game situation is identical to the name of the entire game, but a direct connection is probably not. In addition to the normal snooker, there are also some, mostly few widespread variations. The best known of these variants is the Six Red Snooker. In general, Snooker is now popular today in the United Kingdom and in the People s Republic of China. If Snooker in China has been a mass sport only for a few years by the progressive globalization of the sport, the United Kingdom is the root of the Snooker. Although it was invented in the 1870s outside the British islands in British India, but already the name Snooker is probably back on a name for cadets on the English Royal Military Academy Woolwich. Besides, it was the United Kingdom, where the sport was very popular first. There, the first snooker world championship was held in 1927 and it is home to almost all major players in history as Joe Davis, Ray Reardon, Steve Davis, Stephen Hendry and Ronnie O Sullivan. The popularity of sports declined in the post-war period, but since the end of the 1960s he experiences a fairly broad media, but also an artistic-cultural reception. Despite some good players and important tournaments, Snooker is still a marginal sport in the D-A-CH space.

Until the German theatrical release of Ghostbusters: Legacy on 18 November 2021 are still attracting a few weeks into the country. However, some selected press representatives already had luck to see the new (multi-shifted) ghost hunter movie in advance. Since the corresponding embargo has been repealed for reporting, the first evaluations on the Internet appear - and the traps are mostly positive.

For Rotten Tomatoes, Ghostbusters achieved: Legacy, which is known, among other things in the US under the title Ghostbusters: Afterlife, currently a cut of 84 percent - so more than good rating. According to the magazine Bleeding Cool, the new film show very much reverence from the earlier films, but do not forget a new story with a lot of heart and good characters. The report of the magazine emipre goes in a similar direction. Accordingly, the film is full of love for the originals, but also establish a new generation with a lot of potential. Sometimes it is even talking about one of the best sequels of the past years.

However, there is also more critical voices. These complain, among other things, that Ghostbusters: Afterlife sometimes loses too much in nostalgia instead of focusing on the future of the brand. Here are the previously published reviews in the overview:
