Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Ragnarok, 3 new Rag IPs confirmed to be released in Korea
Lagra Rock is coming with a trilogy title to celebrate the 20th anniversary.
On the 13th, Gravity released the trilogy title information commemorating the 20th anniversary of Ragnarok. The Ragnarok trilogy titles unveiled by Gravity are 'Ragnarok the Lost Memories', 'Ragnarok Arena', and 'Ragnarok X: Next Generation'.
These three trilogy titles are about to be released in Korea in the second half of the year to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Ragnarok, which is loved by many users. Each of the three titles shows various genres of fantasy story RPG, SRPG, and MMORPG, further strengthening the originality and genre diversification of Ragnarok IP, and emphasizing the strategic direction of Gravity.
First of all, 'Ragnarok the Lost Memories', scheduled to be launched in August ahead of domestic advance reservations in July, is a fantasy story RPG featuring a huge Ragnarok worldview and an attractive story. It inherits the graphic sensibility and worldview of the original, and provides strategic and striking battles using 20 heroes and skill cards in open fields and dungeons. The domestic service will be conducted by Gravity Neocyon, a subsidiary of Gravity.
Next is 'Ragnarok Arena', which is scheduled to be launched in Korea in the second half of this year. Ragnarok Arena, which proved popular with its launch in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau in May, combines the card system of a collectible RPG with character growth and job change as the basic elements by taking advantage of the appeal of the mobile strategy simulation RPG genre. In addition to the growth of the main character, strategic battles that require building a camp by considering various factors such as monster card grade, compatibility, and placement are possible.
Lastly, the 3D mobile MMORPG 'Ragnarok X: Next Generation', which will be introduced, is also a game in preparation with the goal of launching in the second half of this year. It has the advantage that users can enjoy the game a little more lightly by strengthening the casual elements of the original content of Ragnarok.
Seongwook Choi, Director of Gravity Business Division, said, To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Ragnarok, we have prepared a Ragnarok trilogy title so that domestic users can enjoy it according to their preferences. All three titles are working hard with the goal of launching in the second half of 2022, so please look forward to it.
